Poly-wood is made from purified, UV protected, high density polyethylene plastic resin. The color of each piece goes throughout the poly lumber and will not fade. We recommend that Poly-wood be cleaned with household soap and water. Should heavier stains occur, we recommend a solution of 1/3 bleach and 2/3 water. This will not cause fading to your Poly-wood furniture. If you wish to power wash your Poly-wood product, do not exceed 1,500 psi. A soft bristle brush may be useful for cleaning joints or corners.
All Poly-wood furniture features 18-8 commercial grade stainless steel hardware, which is protected by Xylan® coating. The hardware resists corrosion well, but can occasionally show signs of corrosion in salt air environments. In this case, scrub the corroded areas with a soft bristle brush. Use appliance touch up paint in a matching color to protect the hardware. Appliance touch up paint is available at many local hardware stores.
